托辊的作用是支撑输送带和物料重量。托辊运转必须灵活可靠。减少输送带同托辊的摩擦力，对占输送机总成本25%以上的输送带的寿命起着关键作用。虽然托辊在带式输送机中是一个较小部件，结构并不复杂，但制造出高质量的托辊并非易事。

The roll is used to support the conveyor belt and the weight of the material. Idler operation must be flexible and reliable. Reducing the friction between the conveyor belt and the supporting roller plays a key role in the life of the conveyor belt which accounts for more than 25% of the total cost of the conveyor. Although the roller is a small component in the belt conveyor, the structure is not complicated, but it is not easy to manufacture a high quality roller.

判断托辊好坏的标准有以下几条：托辊径向跳动量；托辊灵活度；轴向窜动量。

There are several criteria for judging the quality of idlers: radial runout of roller, roller flexibility and axial thrust.

托辊的基本类型

Basic types of idlers

托辊是带式输送机的重要部件，种类多，数量大。作用是支承皮带，减少皮带运行阻力，并使皮带的垂直度不超过一定限度以保证皮带平稳地运行。

托辊按其用途分类为调心托辊、缓冲托辊、槽型托辊、平行托辊。调心托辊的作用是纠正带式输送机的跑偏，通常输送机的重载段上安装回转式槽型调心托辊，空载段上安装平行调心托辊。缓冲托辊是根据实际情况应用于机尾架上的，受料时，可以降低物料对皮带的冲击，有利于沿长皮带的使用寿命。槽形托辊一般由两个侧托辊和一个平托辊组成，槽角度一般为30度，对于可拆卸式的带式输送机，槽形托辊的三个托辊互相铰接在一起，故称铰接托辊。平行托辊一般为一个长辊，它安装在承受压力的下端故称下托辊。

The function of self-aligning roller is to correct the deviation of belt conveyor. Usually, the rotary groove type self-aligning roller is installed on the heavy section of the conveyor, and the parallel self-aligning roller is installed on the unloaded section. The buffer roller is applied to the tail frame according to the actual situation. When the material is received, the impact of the material on the belt can be reduced, and the service life of the belt along the long belt can be reduced. Trough roller generally consists of two side rollers and a pinto roller, groove angle is 30 degrees, the belt conveyor is detachable, grooved roller of three roller hinged together, so called articulated roller. The parallel roller is usually a long roller, it is installed under the lower end of the pressure, so it is called the lower roller.

托辊在材质上分为钢质和塑料托辊两种。托辊的轴承座有铸铁的和钢板冲压的和酚醛塑料等三种。

The rollers are sealed with steel and plastic. Their seals are filled with grease. The quality of the belt conveyor directly affects the energy consumption of belt conveyor and the life of belt. Therefore, dust seal is reliable, good lubrication is an important standard of use.

托辊径向跳动量对胶带输送机的影响：在国家规定的跳动量的范围内，可以保持胶带机平稳运行，否则就会使得胶带输送机胶带共振跳动，造成物料抛洒，污染环境，在带速越高的情况下越显得径向跳动量小的好处。我国国家标准规定量为0.7毫米，日本JIS标准规定的量为0.5毫米。

托辊灵活度对胶带输送机的影响：在胶带输送机运行过程中，托辊的灵活度显得非常的重要，如果托辊灵活度不好，旋转阻力系数高的时候，整个胶带输送机系统就得付出更大的动力，消耗更多的电力，有时还会造成胶带撕裂，电机烧毁的情况，更严重的时候可以引起火灾。所以，选用旋转阻力系数低（最好低于0.020）的托辊是胶带输送机设计、选型的重要内容。

轴向窜动量对胶带输送机的影响：我国的胶带输送机制造技术越来越先进，但是轴线窜动还是一个需要重点研究的课题，因为我国的胶带制造技术，胶带输送机安装技术还和世界上先进国家有较大的差距，往往会出现胶带跑偏的情况，如果托辊的轴向窜动量大，就会造成托辊的较早损坏。一般轴向窜动量控制在0.5-0.7毫米以内较好。

1、按材质分为橡胶托辊、陶瓷托辊、尼龙托辊及绝缘托辊。

2、主要有槽形托辊组，各类平行托辊组，各类调心托辊组，各类缓冲托辊组。
